Upgrade Notes

General Upgrade information

Macro conversion
Macros written with one version of Macro Express can be loaded into a newer major version of Macro Express. However, the macro file will be converted to a format for the new version and will no longer work in the previous version.

We recommend that you back up your macro file(s) before conversion.
Installation Folder
A new major version of Macro Express should not be installed in the same folder as a previous major version.
Changed or incompatible features
New versions of Macro Express may contain improvements that are incompatible with previous versions. Be sure to read the applicable upgrade notes.

Upgrading from Macro Express 3 to Macro Express Pro

Upgrading from Macro Express 2 to Macro Express 3
