Version 2.0c
- Modify the "Repeat With Folder" command to allow it to process any folder names
that are inside a folder. Also added the option to recursively process subfolders.
- Allow an option for the Macro Express Editor to start up in a minimized state.
- Added 7 new "Set Integer Variable" commands. These include setting an integer variable
from the current day, month, year, day of week, hour, minute and second.
- The mechanism to "Test Run Macros" from within the Scripting Editor was changed
to be more efficient and less prone to an error.
- Allow an option to minimize the Macro Express Editor when initiating a capture using the
"Quick Wizard" capture macro.
- All integer and decimal variables are now initialized to zero and all text variables are
initialized to blank prior to running a macro. Variables could have been set to inadvertant
values based on previous macros run.
- Bug Fix: Changed the variable selection box in the Date and Time Windows to be a "Drop
Down List" box where you cannot type in the choice, but can only make a selection from
the list.
- Bug Fix: The "Update and Exit" menu option in the "Modify Directly Editor"
did nothing. It now performs the same thing as clicking on the "Save" button.
- Bug Fix: Starting with version 2.0: When editing macros that were triggered by the "Window
Title", the macro would run if it were set to global because we were displaying the
actual "Window Title" to be used in the caption bar of the Editor!
- Bug Fix: Using a system tray popup menu macro did not always return proper focus to the prior
window so a simple text type operation would appear not to work. Using a popup menu from
within another popup menu could have the same result. This problem was introduced with v2.0.
- Bug Fix: After adding or editing an item in the Scripting Editor, that item would no longer
be selected as the active item in the script. This has been corrected.
- Bug Fix: A variable could not be used in the path name for a "Repeat With Folder"
command.
- Bug Fix: When using the "Duplicate" button in the Scripting Editor on a "Text
Box Display" command, the "centered" box position was not copied over correctly.
- Bug Fix: If a "Multiple Choice Menu" command contained more than 255 characters
in the list of choices, then any characters after 255 were being truncated.
- Bug Fix: If text was pasted into the list of choices for the "Multiple Choice Menu"
and that list contained more than 10 items, then the macro would hang during the attempt
to display the menu. It is not possible to "key in" more than 10 items so this
only could occur with pasting.
- Bug Fix: The "Repeat Until" Command only listed the first 50 Text Variables as
options to do a comparison with. All 99 will be available now.
- Bug Fix: The "Repeat With Folder" command only showed the first 50 Text Variables
could be used for placing the file name in the the variable. All 99 are available now.
