Saved me at least 40 hours
What a wonderful tool. Your suggestion worked perfectly, I created a macro to read a spreadsheet line by line and type the information back into this DOS program. The goal was to
recreate a database lost to a crash in a proprietary system which was compatible with absolutely nothing. I set conditions on when to start a new record, what was included in
each record, I actually needed to count how many characters are on each line of each field, so it would display this information correctly once we loaded everything up. The macro
ran for nearly 2 hours, and saved me at least 40 hours of work, had I entered this by hand. I can’t thank you enough!"
